Welcome to The Roaming Knives!

This crazy business idea was thought of whilst having a rum beside the fire in Outback Northern Territory.  The plan was that we would set up a business of knife sharpening and knife sales and travel Australia whilst earning enough to survive!  We drove from Alice Springs to Robina on the Gold Coast to ‘check out’ a truck which Peter thought was ideal!  And it was … so the dawning of our beloved ‘Roama’.

As time passed we noticed Roama was a little empty so decided to get some country homewares to fill the gaps … and the rest is history!  We are so fortunate to be able to travel this beautiful country and earn a living on the way.

We believe our business has succeeded as we are both ‘people’ people and believe in good old fashioned service.  Peter will spend time teaching people to use a steel as he believes knowledge should not be taken to the grave.
